Membership is open to people of all ages, with all types of 4-wheel drives. Our current fees are;

 

 

The membership fee is per family, which includes the primary member, his/her spouse/partner and any children under 18 years of age. The membership year is from 1 July – 30 June.

 

We happily welcome your attendence at our next club meeting to ask questions and chat with our members before you join. Meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Veteran Car Club, 134 Queens Road, Five Dock starting at 8 pm. Guests are most welcome.

Soft-Roader Policy

 

There are many vehicles currently being marketed as "4WD’s", but not all of them are “off-road capable”. “Soft-Road” vehicles (e.g. Honda CR-V, Nissan X-Trail or Toyota RAV-4) cannot safely complete the Club’s Driver Training Course as they lack the ground clearance and low-range gearing required to undertake the course safely. If you own such a vehicle, you are welcome to join the Club and participate in our social activities.

 

You should borrow an off-road capable 4WD to do the Driver Training Course and check with the Trip Leader as to whether their trip is suitable for a soft-roader.

 

 

Nissan Pathfinder owners

 

We are often asked whether we accept Nissan Pathfinders into the Club. The short answer is YES! The Pathfinder is a very capable 4WD and quite a lot of our members own them. They might not have quite the same ground clearance as the Patrol, but that just means you have to drive a little more carefully.
