classic_vehicle_scheme.jpegIn NSW, owners of vehicles that are 30 years or older have the opportunity to register their vehicles under the Historic or Classic Vehicle Registration Scheme run by Transport for NSW.

We are very proud to offer this to our members as we actively participate in the scheme.

If you are specifically looking for a club for the purposes of classic registration, we will be pleased to assist. Please Contact Us.

land_5.jpgWe are one of only a few four-wheel drive clubs in NSW & ACT with its own property.

Our Club Land sits on 94 hectares (233 acres) in the Windellema region, near Goulbourn. The facilities include a large shed used for driver training and social events, and the property has toilets, hot showers, fresh water, a fully-equipped kitchen and barbecue, as well as a generator to provide power.

The Club Land is in a sensitive environmental zone, with the native sheoak trees providing habitat for the endangered Glossy Black Cockatoo (Calyptorhynchus lathami lathami). We host regular events to maintain access to the tracks and protect the Club Land by minimising the risk of bushfires.

Access to the Club Land is included in membership, and the property makes an excellent site to escape for a few days of quiet solitude, or use as a base camp to explore nearby areas such as the Shoalhaven and Southern Tablelands.

group-shot.jpgThe Club was established in 1976 by a group of four-wheel drive enthusiasts, interested in pursuing common interests and activities, and aiming to give the Nissan Patrol its own standing. No longer limited to Nissan Patrols, membership is open to all types of four-wheel drive and all ages – both people and vehicles! In 2002, we purchased the Club Land and, in 2006, built the Shed there to provide full facilities for our members.

The atmosphere is one of fun and friendship, attracting a wide variety of people from all over NSW and ACT. Our Club holds monthly driver training weekends, tag-a-long tours from one day to several weeks in length and a variety of social activities.

To further support our members, you can purchase quality 4WD equipment at a discounted price through the Club Shop. This includes rated recovery gear that we source and sell to ensure everyone uses safe and certified equipment.

We are strongly committed to continued and open access to our National Parks and State Forests, protecting the environment through the Tread Lightly policy of four-wheel driving and helping to “Clean Up Australia” by cleaning up the bush where we travel.
